Phil has an unbroken involvement with the property industry stretching back over 50 years. He started out as a property lawyer in the City of London and thereafter in the provinces. In 1983 he switched career when joining a local estate agency and then started his own firm in 1985. Although still a director the business now continues under the management of his son Nolan.

Phil was also the Finance Director of Team Association, the UK’s largest network of multi listing estate agents at one time with over 600 offices. It was this involvement which, in 2001, led him to head up a Joint Venture between Team and the Live Organisation providing conveyancing and HIPS to the team network under the brand of Team Conveyancing.

In 2009 Phil moved the JV to MyHomeMove in Leicester and launched Team Property Services. In 2015 he bought out his JV partners and has since traded independently. In 2016 TPS launched the Open Door brand and in 2019 was successful in winning the opportunity to launch Guild Conveyancing on behalf of The Guild of Property Professionals who have over 800 members. TPS now provides three separate branded conveyancing services.

Matt has spent his entire career working within the property and financial services sectors. He worked in the family estate agency business before going to university and graduating with an economics degree which led him into a 20+ year career in financial services, running his own IFA practice. Matt joined his father at TPS in an account management role which enabled him to learn the conveyancing panel management business from the ground up. He now operates as the groups Finance and Operations Manager.

Matt has a strong organisational background and believes the key to the success of the TPS business is being able to encourage TPS panel firms to improve their business performance by adopting ground breaking technology and matching them to estate agency businesses who require/prefer a highly digitised service delivered by high street law firms. His knowledge and experience of both industries empowers him to deal with and deliver the service that our clients have been used to and now expect.

Out of the office Matt has 3 children and lives in Wimborne. He is highly competitive by nature and practices Kyokushinkai Karate and enjoys MMA, football, spending time with family and friends, playing golf (badly), working out; and as is mandatory in his family, supporting Manchester United.
